Good mic sensitivity
The onboard silicon microphone picks up voice commands accurately even from a meter away. The only downside is that the header pins are not pre-soldered, so you need to do that yourself for breadboard use.

Excellent value for audio applications
I bought this to prototype a smart intercom system. The NS4150 amplifier provides enough volume without distortion, and the P4's dual-core performance handles WiFi streaming easily.

Solid build quality

Great hardware, documentation could be better
The ESP32-P4 chip is powerful and the amplifier drives my small speaker well. I had to dig into the schematics to find the exact GPIO mapping for the I2S interface, but once configured, it works flawlessly.
