Great value, minor USB cable issue
The board itself works flawlessly for my university project on inverters. The only reason for 4 stars is that the included USB cable felt a bit flimsy, but replacing it solved the connection drops.

Solid performance for the price
Good build quality and all peripherals tested working. The ADC accuracy is sufficient for our sensor feedback loops. Would buy again for student labs.

Excellent support community
Not only is the hardware great, but there are many tutorials online specific to this Yanxu board. It saved me days of configuration time.

Robust industrial prototype platform
I've used this for prototyping a BLDC driver. The 150MHz speed handles complex PID loops without lag. The breakout pins make it easy to connect external gate drivers.

Beginner friendly as advertised
I was intimidated by DSPs before, but the example projects included on the SD card made getting started very easy. Highly recommend for anyone moving from Arduino to professional DSPs.

Perfect for learning DSP control
This board is exactly what I needed to start learning motor control algorithms. The documentation provided by Yanxu is clear, and the pinout is well labeled. Code Composer Studio recognized the device immediately.

A: Yes, all example projects provided in the package are open source and can be modified freely for your learning or commercial projects.
Q: Are there schematics available for download?
A: Yes, detailed schematics and PCB layout files are available in the 'Resources' section of our product page under the Downloads tab.
Q: Which IDE is recommended for this development board?
A: We recommend using Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio (CCS). It is fully compatible with the TMS320F28335 chip on this board.
Q: Can I power this board directly from a 12V battery?
A: No, the input voltage range is strictly 5V via USB or the DC jack. Applying 12V directly may damage the onboard regulators.
