Perfect for learning domestic FPGA tech

This board is an excellent entry point into the Gowin ecosystem. The documentation provided by XiaoMeiGe is clear, and the seven-segment display examples worked right out of the box. Great value for students.

Good documentation support

As someone new to FPGAs, I appreciated the sample code available online. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the VGA timing examples could use more comments for beginners.

Solid hardware, software setup takes time

The build quality is impressive for the price. VGA output is crisp. Just be prepared to spend some time configuring the Gowin EDA software if you are coming from Xilinx or Intel backgrounds.

Great for university projects
