Great hardware, decent community support
The build quality is solid and the XC7Z020 chip performs exactly as expected. I deducted one star only because some of the example projects are in Chinese, but the code itself is well-commented and easy to follow if you know the basics. Highly recommended for students.

Reliable for prototyping industrial controls
We used this board to prototype a motor control interface using the FMC port. The stability has been impressive over a week of continuous testing. The GPIO headers are clearly labeled, which made wiring our sensors very easy.

Perfect for learning Zynq architecture
This board is an excellent entry point for anyone wanting to learn about SoC FPGA development. The documentation provided by Xiao Meige is surprisingly good, and getting PetaLinux running was straightforward. The FMC connector adds great flexibility for future expansion projects.

Robust design and clear silkscreen
The PCB layout is clean, and the silkscreen markings are very legible, which is rare for budget boards. I appreciate the inclusion of both JTAG and UART debug interfaces. It arrived well-packaged and ready to use immediately.

Best value for money in this category
I compared this with several other boards in the same price range, and the feature set here is unbeatable. Having 1GB of DDR3 and eMMC storage out of the box saves a lot of hassle. Booting Linux takes only a few seconds.

Good for academic projects
Used this for my master's thesis involving image processing on FPGA. The HDMI output works flawlessly for displaying processed frames. The only minor issue was finding the specific device tree overlays, but the support team helped me quickly.
