Great value, minor Wi-Fi quirks
Overall a solid development board for the price. The GPIO pins are well labeled. I had to update the firmware to get the Wi-Fi module stable, but once updated, it works perfectly.

Reliable and fast
Been running this board 24/7 as a lightweight server for home automation. It stays cool even under load, and the eMMC storage is much faster than SD card alternatives. Very satisfied.

Perfect for embedded Linux learning
This board is exactly what I needed to get started with embedded Linux. The documentation is clear, and the BTB interface makes connecting the display very straightforward. Boot times are impressively fast.

Excellent for robotics projects
I am using this for a small autonomous robot project. The CAN bus interface is a huge plus, and the processing power handles sensor fusion tasks without breaking a sweat. Highly recommended.

Solid hardware, good documentation
The hardware layout is logical and easy to prototype with. The included examples helped me get the touchscreen working in under an hour. Would give 5 stars if the USB-C port supported higher power delivery.
Q: Is there support for Python programming on this board?
A: Absolutely. Since it runs a full Linux distribution, you can install Python 3, pip, and any necessary libraries just like you would on a desktop computer.
Q: Is the 4.3-inch display included in the package?
A: The standard package includes the development board only. The 4.3-inch capacitive touch display with the BTB connector is sold separately, though bundles are available.
Q: What version of the device tree is supported?
A: The board supports the latest mainline Linux kernel device trees. Specific DTS files for the Wildfire i.MX6ULL are maintained in our GitHub repository linked in the user manual.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed OS image?
A: Yes, the board comes with a pre-loaded Linux image on the eMMC. You can also easily flash custom images like Ubuntu or Debian using the provided recovery tools.
Q: Can I power this board via the GPIO pins?
A: While technically possible, we strongly recommend powering the board via the Micro-USB or Type-C port to ensure stable voltage levels and prevent damage to the processor.
