Solid performance for evaluation

We used several of these for evaluating Zigbee protocols in our lab. They are reliable and the build quality is good. The only reason for 4 stars is the lack of an included enclosure.

Easy to start with BLE

As someone new to Bluetooth Low Energy, this kit made learning easy. The example codes provided by Waveshare worked out of the box. I built a simple sensor transmitter in an afternoon.

Best value nRF52840 board

Compared to other development kits on the market, this offers the best price-to-performance ratio. The USB-C connector is a nice modern touch, and the onboard LED indicators are helpful for debugging.

Perfect for IoT Prototyping

Excellent compatibility with Raspberry Pi

Great hardware, documentation could be better

The nRF52840 chip performs flawlessly. I successfully flashed a Thread network stack on it. My only gripe is that some of the specific pinout diagrams in the wiki were slightly outdated, but community forums helped clarify.
