Good for industrial prototyping
We bought ten of these for a pilot project. They are stable and the signal strength is impressive for such a small antenna. Would give 5 stars if it came with header pins pre-soldered.

Perfect for Wi-Fi 6 Projects
This board is incredibly compact yet powerful. The Wi-Fi 6 support makes a noticeable difference in congested network environments. Setup with ESP-IDF was seamless.

Easy to start with Arduino
As a beginner, I was worried about compatibility, but it worked straight out of the box with the Arduino IDE after adding the board manager URL. Great starter board for modern IoT.

RISC-V performance is solid
Compiling code for the RISC-V architecture is fast, and the board handles multitasking well. Bluetooth pairing was instant with my phone. Highly recommended for embedded learning.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
Hardware quality is excellent and the USB-C port is a nice touch. Had to dig into the GitHub repo for some pinout details not clearly listed in the main manual, but otherwise works great.

Compact powerhouse
I switched from the ESP32-S3 to this C6 Zero for a battery-powered sensor node. The power efficiency improvements are real, and the form factor fits perfectly in my custom enclosure.
Q: Is the IPEX connector for an external antenna included?
A: The board features an IPEX footprint and connector option, but the external antenna itself is sold separately. The onboard PCB antenna works well for most close-range applications.
Q: What is the maximum current draw for the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard LDO regulator can supply up to 500mA total for the board and peripherals. However, for high-current devices, we recommend using an external power source.
Q: Can I use this with MicroPython?
A: Yes, the ESP32-C6 chip is fully supported by MicroPython. You can flash the latest firmware binary available on the official MicroPython website.
Q: Does it come with headers soldered?
A: No, the board is shipped without headers soldered to keep the profile low and allow flexibility for custom mounting. You will need to solder your own headers if required.
Q: Does this board support Power over Ethernet (PoE)?
A: No, the ESP32-C6-Zero does not have an onboard Ethernet controller or PoE support. It relies on Wi-Fi for networking and is powered via USB-C or GPIO pins.
