Great hardware, docs need updating
The board quality is excellent and the touch response is very sensitive. However, some of the Python examples for the deepseek integration were slightly outdated.

Compact and Powerful
The form factor is tiny but packed with features. The capacitive touch feels premium compared to resistive screens on older boards. Highly recommended.

Perfect for AI Voice Projects
The integration of the capacitive screen with the ESP32-C6 makes building voice-controlled interfaces incredibly smooth. The XiaoZhi AI demo worked out of the box.

Best value RISC-V board
For the price, you cannot beat the specs. Wi-Fi 6 support future-proofs my projects, and the 1.83-inch screen is crisp and bright enough for indoor use.

Good for learning embedded AI
Using this for my university project on edge computing. The performance is solid, though the battery life could be better when the screen is at max brightness.
Q: What is the operating temperature range?
A: The commercial grade ESP32-C6 operates reliably between -20°C and 70°C. For industrial environments, please ensure adequate ventilation.
Q: Does this board support MicroPython?
A: Yes, the ESP32-C6 chip fully supports MicroPython, and we provide specific firmware builds for the touch screen and audio peripherals on our GitHub repository.
Q: Is the deepseek AI model running locally on the device?
A: The board acts as an interface; while it handles local voice wake-up, the heavy processing for the deepseek dialogue typically runs on a connected server or cloud endpoint via Wi-Fi.
Q: Can I power this board with a LiPo battery directly?
A: The board does not have a built-in charging circuit for LiPo batteries. You should use a regulated 5V source or a separate battery management module connected to the 5V pin.
Q: Are there example codes for the capacitive touch gestures?
A: Yes, our wiki includes a 'Touch_Gestures' example folder demonstrating swipe, tap, and long-press detection using the LVGL graphics library.
