Fast shipping, works immediately
Arrived well-packaged. Tested it within minutes of unboxing using the EthernetWebServer example. The link lights on the RJ45 connector respond instantly. Very happy with this purchase for my home automation gateway.

Reliable but needs 3.3V logic
Solid build quality and consistent performance. Just a reminder to beginners: this is a 3.3V device. If you are using a 5V microcontroller like an old Arduino Uno, ensure you have a level shifter. Once wired correctly, it has been rock solid in our test environment.

Great for learning networking
Bought this for a university embedded systems course. It's robust and the documentation online is plentiful. Successfully implemented a simple web server to display sensor data. No overheating issues even after running for 48 hours straight.

Superior to W5100
Upgraded from a W5100 board and the difference in performance is noticeable. The W5500 handles higher data throughput much better. Setup with the official library was plug-and-play. Excellent for industrial control prototypes.

Good value, minor pin labeling issue
The board functions exactly as described. Connection speeds are good, and it handles multiple sockets well. I deducted one star because the silkscreen labeling on the pins was slightly faint, requiring a multimeter to verify connections initially. Otherwise, great hardware.

Perfect for IoT Projects
