Solid development board disguised as a toy
Don't let the 'pet dog' appearance fool you; this is a legitimate development board. I used it to prototype a custom sensor array. The GPIO pins are easily accessible for expansion.

Perfect introduction to embedded systems

Great hardware, steep learning curve for beginners
The build quality is solid and the dog moves smoothly. However, if you have never coded in C before, be prepared to do some research. The documentation could be slightly more detailed for absolute novices.

Good value for money
For the price, you get a lot of components. The battery life is decent, lasting about 2 hours of continuous play. Would recommend buying extra screws just in case.
Q: Is soldering required to assemble this kit?
A: No, this kit is designed to be assembled using only a screwdriver. All components come with pre-soldered headers or use plug-and-play connectors.
Q: Can I program this using an iPhone?
A: You can control the robot via our iOS app once assembled, but for writing and uploading custom code, we recommend using a Windows PC, Mac, or Linux machine with the appropriate IDE installed.
Q: Can I add additional sensors like ultrasonic or infrared?
A: Absolutely. The board exposes several GPIO, I2C, and UART pins specifically for expanding functionality with external sensors.
Q: Is the source code for the firmware available?
A: Yes, the basic firmware and library files are open source and hosted on our GitHub repository, linked in the user manual.
