Great hardware, documentation needs improvement
Hardware capabilities are top-notch, especially the 8K video processing. However, some of the peripheral pinout diagrams in the manual were slightly unclear. Once we figured it out, integration was smooth.

Perfect for industrial control applications
We deployed this in a factory automation setup. The wide temperature range and multiple serial interfaces (RS485/CAN) made it easy to replace our legacy PLCs. Very stable after 3 months of continuous operation.

Best value for high-end ARM development
Compared to other boards in this category, the price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. The 32GB RAM option allows us to run heavy containers locally. Highly recommended for prototyping.

Community support is growing fast. The board boots quickly and the OS images provided are stable. Only minor issue was the initial Wi-Fi driver configuration, but a firmware update resolved it.

Q: Does this board support Android 12 or only Linux?
A: The Tronlong RK3588J supports both Android 12 and various Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, and Buildroot. Official images are available for download on our wiki.
Q: Is the NPU compatible with TensorFlow Lite models?
A: Yes, the 6T NPU is fully compatible with TensorFlow Lite models. We provide an RKNN Toolkit that allows you to convert TF, PyTorch, and ONNX models for optimized execution on the NPU.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported for camera inputs?
A: The ISP supports up to 32MP single camera or dual 16MP cameras simultaneously. It also supports MIPI CSI-2 interfaces for high-speed sensor connections commonly used in machine vision.
Q: Can I power this board via USB-C or is the DC jack required?
