Reliable for industrial prototyping

Perfect for learning STM8 architecture
This board is exactly what I needed to get started with the STM8 family. The pinout is clearly labeled, and it works flawlessly with the ST-Link programmer. Great value for the price.

Great documentation support online

Solid performer for the cost
You can't beat the price per unit. It's not as powerful as an ARM Cortex-M4, but for simple control tasks and learning embedded C, it is more than sufficient.

Good quality, minor soldering needed
The board itself is well-made. I had to solder headers onto it as they weren't pre-installed, which is standard for these modules. Once set up, the compilation and upload process was smooth.

Compact and efficient
Love how small this footprint is. It fits easily into tight spaces in our custom enclosures. Power consumption is also very low, which is great for battery-operated projects.
