Great alternative to expensive dev kits
Why spend $50 on a large evaluation board when this tiny module does everything you need for prototyping? It fits perfectly on a breadboard and has enough power for most sensor projects.

Friendly for beginners
I was intimidated by ARM chips before, but this minimal system board made the transition from Arduino Uno very smooth. The community support for this specific board is huge, which helped me solve issues quickly.

Bought 10 for our student workshop
We purchased these for a university robotics course. All ten boards worked out of the box. Students found the documentation easy to follow, and the SWD interface makes debugging very straightforward.

Solid board, minor soldering needed
The hardware quality is good and the chip is genuine. Note that some versions come without headers soldered, so you will need to do a little work before plugging it into a breadboard. Otherwise, performance is excellent.

Perfect for learning ARM architecture
This board is exactly what I needed to start my journey with STM32 microcontrollers. The pinout is clearly labeled, and it works flawlessly with the Arduino IDE using the STM32 core. Great value for the price.

Good performance, check your voltage regulator
The board runs stable at 72MHz. Just be careful if you are powering it via the 5V pin; ensure your external supply is regulated. Using the USB-TTL adapter provided in some bundles makes flashing code very easy.
Q: Does it support 5V logic levels on the GPIO pins?
A: The microcontroller operates at 3.3V, but most GPIO pins on the STM32F103C8T6 are 5V tolerant. However, for safety and signal integrity, we recommend using level shifters when interfacing with strict 5V devices.
Q: What is the maximum current this board can supply to peripherals?
A: The onboard LDO regulator can typically supply up to 200mA-300mA depending on the input voltage and heat dissipation. For high-power devices like motors, we recommend using an external power source.
