Perfect for advanced embedded projects
This board is exactly what I needed for my university thesis. The F429 chip handles floating-point operations effortlessly, and the onboard debugger works flawlessly with Keil and STM32CubeIDE. Highly recommended for anyone moving beyond basic Arduino projects.

Great value but documentation could be better
Hardware quality is excellent and the pinout is standard. However, finding specific example code for the LCD controller took some digging. Once set up, the performance is incredible for the price point.

Solid hardware, minor USB quirk
The board works great for most applications. Occasionally, the USB OTG port requires a hard reset to enumerate on Linux machines, but this might be a driver issue on my end rather than the board. Overall very satisfied.

Excellent for learning ARM architecture
As a student transitioning from AVR to ARM, this board provided a smooth learning curve. The community support for the F4 series is huge, making it easy to find libraries and drivers. Shipping was fast too.

Robust minimal system
I've burned two other boards from different sellers due to voltage regulation issues, but this one has been rock solid for three months of continuous testing. The 180MHz clock speed makes real-time signal processing feasible.

Best bang for your buck in the F4 range
Compared to official Nucleo boards, this offers more pins and memory at a lower cost. It's perfect for prototyping industrial control systems where you need multiple UARTs and timers. Will buy again.
Q: Is the schematic available for download?

Q: What is the difference between the VGT6 and VET6 versions listed?
A: The primary difference is the Flash memory size. The VGT6 model has 1MB of Flash, while the VET6 model has 512KB. Both share the same pinout and 256KB SRAM.
Q: Does this support MicroPython or only C/C++?
A: While primarily designed for C/C++ development, the STM32F429 is fully compatible with MicroPython. You will need to flash the appropriate F429-specific .dfu firmware file.
