Best entry-level FPGA board
As a student, this is the best bang for my buck. I use it for both digital logic classes and hobbyist retro gaming. The USB-C power delivery is very convenient.

Great for emulation projects
I loaded up a GameBoy Advance core and it runs flawlessly via the HDMI output. The only downside is the lack of included cables, but that's expected at this price point.

Excellent value Gowin FPGA
The GW2AR chip offers plenty of logic resources for intermediate projects. The DDR3 memory integration is a huge plus compared to smaller boards in this series.

Solid hardware, learning curve exists
Hardware is top-notch. If you are new to FPGAs, be prepared to read the wiki. Once you get past the initial setup, it's a powerful little device.

Perfect for RISC-V Learning
This board is incredibly affordable for the specs. Getting Linux running on the soft RISC-V core was a smooth experience. Great documentation from the community.

Impressive performance
Running custom peripherals on the RISC-V core is surprisingly fast. The GPIO headers make it easy to interface with sensors and displays. Highly recommended.
