Great for beginners
I bought this for my university embedded systems course. It works seamlessly with the Arduino IDE and the documentation is very clear. Highly recommended for students.

Exceeded expectations
I needed a low-power controller for a sensor node, and this board delivers. The sleep modes work great, and the battery life on my project has improved significantly.

Powerful but small pins
Performance is excellent for the price point. My only complaint is that the pins are so close together that soldering headers requires a steady hand and good equipment.

Good value
For the price, you get a lot of processing power. It handles complex logic well. Just make sure you buy the expansion shield if you aren't comfortable with surface mount soldering.

Perfect for wearable projects
The tiny form factor of the Seeeduino XIAO is incredible. It fits perfectly into my smartwatch prototype without adding bulk. The USB-C connection is a nice modern touch.
Q: Is this board compatible with MicroPython?
A: Yes, the Seeeduino XIAO supports MicroPython, CircuitPython, and the standard Arduino IDE.
Q: Is there a reset button on the board?
A: Yes, there is a dedicated reset button located next to the USB-C port for easy rebooting during development.
Q: Does it come with headers pre-soldered?
A: No, the board is typically sold without headers to keep the profile low. You will need to solder them yourself or purchase an expansion board.
Q: What is the maximum current output per GPIO pin?
A: Each GPIO pin can source or sink up to 7mA safely. Please refer to the datasheet for total current limits across all pins.
Q: Can I power this board with a 5V supply?
A: The board has a built-in LDO regulator. You can feed 5V into the 5V pin, but the logic level operates at 3.3V.
