Perfect entry point into SDR
This board works flawlessly out of the box. I was able to pick up local FM radio and aircraft signals within minutes of installing the drivers. The included antenna is decent for indoor use, but I plan to upgrade soon.

Excellent for learning projects
Bought this for my university telecommunications project. The compatibility with Linux and Python libraries made data analysis very straightforward. Highly recommended for students.

Great value, minor heat issue
For the price, you cannot beat this dongle. It receives a wide range of frequencies clearly. The only downside is that it gets quite warm after an hour of continuous use, so I added a small heatsink.

Good bulk purchase for our lab
We bought ten of these for our makerspace. Most work perfectly. One unit had a loose USB connector, but customer support replaced it quickly. Overall a solid choice for educational settings.

Fun weekend project

Picked up NOAA satellite images!
I was skeptical about the range, but with a simple wire extension, I successfully decoded weather satellite images. The sensitivity of the R820T2 tuner is impressive.
Q: Does this come with drivers for Windows 11?
A: Yes, the device is plug-and-play on Windows 10 and 11. It uses standard Zadig drivers which are automatically detected by most SDR software like SDR#.
Q: Can I use this to listen to Ham Radio bands?
A: Absolutely. This board covers the VHF and UHF ham bands (2m and 70cm). Please note that this is a receive-only device; you cannot transmit with it.
Q: Does this work on Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi running Raspbian or other Linux distributions. You may need to install the rtl-sdr package via the terminal.
Q: What is the maximum bandwidth supported?
A: The RTL2832U chip supports a maximum usable bandwidth of approximately 2.4 MHz to 2.8 MHz depending on the sample rate configuration in your software.
Q: Is the SMA connector standard size?
