Perfect upgrade for IoT projects
The dual-core performance and built-in Wi-Fi make this board a massive leap forward from the original Pico. Setting up MicroPython was seamless, and the Bluetooth connectivity works flawlessly for my sensor dashboard.

Excellent value for industrial prototyping

Great for learning, minor heat under load
As a student, this is the best board to learn embedded systems. It gets slightly warm when running Wi-Fi and heavy computations simultaneously, but nothing concerning. Highly recommended for beginners.

Solid board, wish it had more ADCs
Overall a fantastic board for home automation. My only gripe is that three ADC channels aren't enough for some of my larger sensor arrays, but I can work around it with multiplexers.

Smooth transition from C++ to MicroPython
The flexibility to switch between C++ for performance-critical sections and MicroPython for quick logic tests is fantastic. The 520KB SRAM provides plenty of room for complex buffers.

Bluetooth 5.2 is a game changer
Finally, a Raspberry Pi microcontroller with decent Bluetooth support. I used it to control a small rover wirelessly, and the latency was impressively low. The pinout compatibility with the original Pico is a huge plus.
Q: Does it support external antennas for better range?
A: The onboard antenna is optimized for general use. While the RF layout is fixed on this specific model, the signal strength is sufficient for most indoor and short-range outdoor applications.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the GPIO pins?
