Best bang for buck in SBC market
Bought ten of these for our workshop. They all worked out of the box. The USB-C power delivery is convenient, and the build quality feels surprisingly robust for such a tiny device.

Perfect compact board for IoT projects
The Radxa Zero 3E is incredibly small yet powerful. The RK3566 handles my home automation dashboard smoothly, and the GPIO compatibility made migrating my old Raspberry Pi scripts effortless.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
Hardware performance is excellent for the price point. Video output is crisp at 4K. I deducted one star because some peripheral pinout diagrams in the wiki were slightly outdated, but support helped clarify quickly.

Runs Debian flawlessly
Flashed the official Debian image and it booted instantly. Network speeds over Gigabit Ethernet are stable. This is now my go-to recommendation for students learning embedded Linux.

Solid performer with good community
Compilation times are reasonable for a board this size. The community forum is active which helps when you get stuck. Wish it had onboard storage options besides MicroSD, but an eMMC hat works well.

Ideal for mobile robots
The low power consumption and small footprint make this perfect for my wheeled robot project. The Mali GPU helps with some light computer vision tasks without overheating.
Q: Can I run Android 11 on this specific model?
A: Yes, the ZERO 3E with the RK3566 processor officially supports Android 11. You can download the relevant image files from the Radxa wiki documentation page.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported by the Micro-HDMI port?
A: The Micro-HDMI 2.0 port supports video output up to 4K resolution at 60Hz. It is also backward compatible with lower resolutions like 1080p and 720p.
Q: Does this board support PoE (Power over Ethernet)?
A: The Radxa Zero 3E does not have built-in PoE support. However, you can use a separate PoE HAT or splitter designed for the 40-pin GPIO header to achieve this functionality.
Q: Is the RAM soldered or upgradeable?
A: The LPDDR4/4X RAM is soldered directly onto the board during manufacturing. It is not user-upgradeable, so please select the appropriate memory capacity (1GB, 2GB, 4GB, or 8GB) at the time of purchase.
Q: Does the Wi-Fi antenna come included?
A: Yes, the board comes with an onboard ceramic antenna for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. For better range, there is also a u.FL connector available to attach an external antenna if needed.
