Reliable for OpenCV projects

True UVC compliance

Solid basic webcam module
Does exactly what it says. No frills, just a reliable 1080p stream over USB. The microphone audio is clear enough for voice commands but not for professional recording.

Good value, decent low-light performance
For the price, this is a solid choice for development boards. It works well in good lighting. In low light, there is some grain, but that is expected for this sensor size. Plug and play on Ubuntu was a breeze.

Works but fixed focus is limiting
The camera works as described for general use, but the fixed focus makes it hard to capture close-up details of small components for my inspection project. Great for room-scale monitoring though.
