Solid hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality is excellent and the ports are well-labeled. However, if you are new to OpenHarmony, expect to spend some time setting up the environment. Once running, it performs very well.

Good for university projects
Bought this for my embedded systems class. It works great for running Linux-based distributions and OpenHarmony apps. The only downside is that some third-party tutorials are still scarce compared to other boards.

Perfect for OpenHarmony Learning

Impressive 4K output
The video output quality is stunning. I connected it to a 4K monitor via Mini HDMI, and the UI was crisp. Perfect for building kiosk applications or digital signage projects.

Good board, needs more community support
Hardware-wise, there are no complaints. The processor is fast and the RAM is sufficient. However, finding specific drivers for some peripherals took longer than expected due to the smaller community size.

Great value for industrial prototyping
We used this for a quick industrial control prototype. The Gigabit Ethernet and GPIO stability were impressive. It booted up quickly and remained stable during our 48-hour stress test.
Q: Can I install Ubuntu or other Linux distros on this?
A: Yes, the RK3566 chipset supports various Linux distributions including Debian and Ubuntu. You will need to flash the appropriate image to the eMMC or SD card.
Q: Does the kit include a power adapter and cable?
A: The standard kit includes the development board only. A USB Type-C power cable and 5V/3A adapter are recommended and may be purchased separately or as part of a bundle.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed SD card?
A: No, the board comes with 32GB of onboard eMMC storage. A MicroSD card slot is available for expansion, but the card itself is sold separately.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported by the HDMI port?
A: The Mini HDMI 2.0 port supports output resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, ensuring smooth playback for high-definition media.
