Good for university projects
Used this for my final year project on autonomous navigation. The sensor array is sufficient for basic obstacle avoidance. Wish the battery life was slightly longer.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality is solid and the servos are strong. However, if you are new to ARM architecture, be prepared to spend some time reading datasheets. Not a plug-and-play toy, but a serious dev board.
Q: Does it come with a pre-installed OS?
A: No, this is a microcontroller development board, not a single-board computer like Raspberry Pi. It runs firmware that you compile and upload yourself.
Q: Is there a community forum for code examples?
A: Yes, we host a GitHub repository with open-source example codes and a link to our user community forum where members share their projects.
Q: Is this compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, the board supports the Arduino IDE via the STM32duino core. You will need to install the appropriate board package in your preferences.
Q: What is the maximum weight the robot dog can carry?
A: The chassis is designed for the included electronics only. We do not recommend adding extra payload as it may strain the servo motors and affect balance.
Q: Can I replace the servos if one breaks?
A: Absolutely. The servos are connected via standard headers, making them easy to swap out. Standard MG90S type servos are compatible replacements.
