Solid performance for prototyping
We used these for initial prototyping of an industrial controller. The thermal management is good, though we added a small heatsink for sustained loads.

Perfect for compact IoT projects
The NanoPi Zero2 is incredibly small yet powerful. The Gigabit Ethernet works flawlessly out of the box with Ubuntu. Great value for the price.

Surprisingly good for retro gaming
Installed RetroArch and it handles PS1 and N64 emulation without breaking a sweat. The HDMI output quality is crisp on my monitor.

Great board, minor documentation gaps
Hardware is solid and the RK3528A handles multitasking well. I wish the pinout diagram in the manual was slightly clearer for the I2C lines, but community forums helped.
Q: Is the WiFi module included in the base price?
A: The base model does not include the WiFi module. It supports expansion via a specific HAT or USB dongle, which must be purchased separately.
Q: Does this board come with the eMMC module pre-installed?
A: No, the standard package includes the board without eMMC. You can purchase the eMMC module separately or use a MicroSD card for storage.
Q: Is the GPIO header compatible with Raspberry Pi accessories?
A: Yes, the 40-pin header follows the Raspberry Pi pinout standard, making it compatible with most HATs and sensors designed for the Pi.
Q: Can I power this board using a standard phone charger?
A: Yes, as long as the charger provides 5V and at least 2A via a USB-C connection. We recommend using a high-quality cable to ensure stability.
Q: What OS images are officially supported?
A: We officially provide images for Ubuntu Core, Debian, and Android. Community-built images for other distributions like Arch Linux are also available.
