Reliable for industrial prototyping

Perfect for Meshtastic Projects
This board works flawlessly out of the box with Meshtastic firmware. The SX1262 chip provides excellent range compared to older modules, and the built-in OLED is very handy for checking node status without a phone.

Great hardware, minor pin labeling issue
The performance is top-notch and WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity is stable. I deducted one star because some of the GPIO pin labels on the silkscreen are a bit small to read easily, but otherwise a solid dev board.

Good for beginners with some setup
As someone new to LoRa, this board was mostly easy to set up using the Arduino IDE. Had to install a specific board manager package first, but once that was done, uploading sketches was smooth.

Long range capabilities
Tested this in a rural area with a proper external antenna attached. I was able to hit nodes over 5km away in line-of-sight conditions. The power management seems efficient too.

Excellent build quality
Heltec never disappoints. The soldering is clean, the USB-C port feels durable, and the battery charging circuit works perfectly with my standard 1000mAh LiPo cells. Highly recommended for IoT learning.
