Impressive performance per watt
I was skeptical about the dual-core setup, but it handles network tasks and UI rendering smoothly. The form factor fits perfectly into my custom enclosure.

Easy to get started
Flashed the SD card image in minutes. The community support is growing fast, and the board boots up very quickly. Highly recommended for learning embedded Linux.

Great value, documentation could be better
Hardware is solid and the DSI interface drove my screen without issues. I wish the wiki had more examples for the M0 co-processor, but overall a great board for the price.

DSI output is crisp
Using this to drive a small HMI panel. The display quality over DSI is excellent, and the touch response is low latency. A hidden gem in the mini-PC market.

Good for education
Bought ten of these for our student workshop. They are durable and the price point allows us to equip every student. One board had a loose USB port, but support replaced it quickly.

Perfect for compact IoT projects
The Luckfox Lyra Plus is incredibly small yet powerful enough for my home automation gateway. The Ethernet port works flawlessly out of the box with Buildroot.
Q: What voltage should I use for the GPIO pins?
A: The GPIO pins operate at 3.3V logic levels. Please ensure you do not connect 5V devices directly to avoid damaging the board.
Q: Does this board support WiFi out of the box?
A: No, the Luckfox Lyra Plus does not have built-in WiFi. However, you can connect a USB WiFi dongle or use an external module via the GPIO pins.
Q: Does the package include a heatsink?
A: The standard package includes the board only. However, due to the low power consumption of the RK3506G2, active cooling is usually not required for typical workloads.
Q: Can I run Docker containers on this device?
A: While technically possible with a lightweight Linux distribution, the 128MB RAM limits practical Docker usage. It is better suited for native applications or lightweight containers like Podman with strict resource limits.
Q: Is there a JTAG header available for debugging?
A: Yes, there are test points on the PCB for UART and JTAG debugging. Please refer to the schematic diagram on our GitHub repository for the exact pinout.
