Perfect for university projects
This board matches the specifications used in our Jiangke University video tutorials exactly. It was plug-and-play with the STC-ISP software. Great value for students learning 8051 architecture.

Solid basic board
Works well for basic GPIO and timer experiments. The crystal oscillator is stable. I deducted one star because the silk screen printing is a bit faint, but functionally it is flawless.

Good for classroom sets
Bought ten of these for my introductory electronics class. They are consistent and reliable. The only minor issue is that the USB cable included is quite short, but that's easily replaced.
Q: Can I power this board via the USB port alone?

Q: What software do I need to upload code?
A: You will need the STC-ISP software, which is available for free download from the manufacturer's website. It supports Windows and allows easy hex file uploading.
