Perfect for OpenHarmony Learning
This board is exactly what I needed to start developing with OpenHarmony. The documentation is clear, and the NFC feature works flawlessly out of the box. Highly recommended for beginners.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The Hi3861 chip is powerful for its size. Setting up the environment took some time if you aren't familiar with DevEco Studio, but once running, the WiFi stability is excellent.

Good board, limited community support
The hardware is great, but finding third-party libraries compared to ESP32 is harder. You really need to rely on official Huawei docs, which are improving but still growing.

NFC feature is a game changer
Being able to pair devices just by tapping my phone is amazing. The setup was straightforward, and the board connects to my home network instantly every time.

Solid industrial prototype board

Excellent value for education
Bought this for my university IoT project. The integration with HarmonyOS ecosystem is seamless. The included examples helped me understand the framework quickly.

A: The Hi3861 primarily supports C and C++ for development within the OpenHarmony framework. While MicroPython support is being explored by the community, official stable support is currently focused on native languages.
Q: What is the maximum range of the Wi-Fi connection?
A: As an IoT module, the range depends on your environment. In open spaces, you can expect up to 50 meters, while indoors with walls, it typically reaches 15-20 meters reliably.
Q: Do I need a separate debugger to flash code onto the board?
A: No separate hardware debugger is required for basic flashing. You can upload code directly via the USB Type-C cable using DevEco Studio. JTAG headers are available for advanced debugging if needed.
Q: Is the NFC module read/write capable or just for tagging?
A: The integrated NFC module supports both reading and writing operations, allowing you to implement complex data exchange scenarios compatible with NTAG standards.
