Perfect for edge AI projects
This module makes deploying AI models incredibly easy. The integration with Arduino was seamless, and the pre-loaded models worked right out of the box. Highly recommended for prototyping.

Fast inference speed
I am impressed by how fast this processes images compared to running similar models on a standard microcontroller. It has significantly improved the response time of my robot project.

Exceeded expectations
I bought this to test face recognition for a smart door lock. The accuracy is surprisingly good even in varying light conditions. Setup took less than 30 minutes.

Solid addition to the Grove ecosystem
Fits perfectly with my existing Seeed Studio setup. The only reason for 4 stars is that I wish it had a higher resolution camera option, but for the price, it's unbeatable.

Great hardware, learning curve on software
The hardware quality is excellent and the Grove connector is very convenient. It took me a little while to understand how to upload custom models, but the documentation eventually helped.

Ideal for students
As a student learning about computer vision, this board is a game changer. It abstracts away the complex math and lets me focus on application logic. Very affordable too.
Q: Can I train my own custom object detection model and upload it to this module?
A: Yes, you can train custom models using TensorFlow Lite or PyTorch and deploy them easily using the Seeed Studio Model Assistant web tool.
Q: Does it work in low-light conditions without an external IR illuminator?
A: While it can detect objects in dim light, performance may degrade in complete darkness. For night vision applications, we recommend adding an external IR light source.
Q: What is the power consumption during active inference?
A: The module typically consumes around 150mA to 200mA during active image processing and inference, depending on the complexity of the model used.
Q: How many models can be stored on the device at once?
A: The module allows you to store multiple models, but only one can be active at a time. You can switch between them via code commands.
Q: Is this module compatible with the ESP32?
A: Yes, as long as your ESP32 board supports I2C communication and has a Grove interface or compatible pins, you can use this module.
