Best value for Kintex-7 development
Compared to other boards in this class, the price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. The onboard USB-JTAG saves the need for an external programmer, and the power delivery system is robust enough for heavy designs.

Reliable for computer vision tasks

Excellent board for high-performance parallel processing

Great hardware, documentation could be better
The build quality is solid and the FMC connectors are very useful for expanding I/O. However, the example projects for the camera interface were a bit sparse. Once I got the constraints file right, everything worked perfectly.

As a graduate student, this board provided enough headroom to experiment with high-speed serial protocols and parallel computing architectures. The only downside is the fan noise under full load, but that's expected.
