Perfect for my digital signage project
The RK3562 chip handles 4K video playback smoothly without any lag. Setting up the Android environment was straightforward, and the GPIO pins made it easy to connect my external sensors. Highly recommended for commercial display setups.

Excellent for live streaming applications

Solid performance, good value
For a development board with this level of integration, the price is unbeatable. Boot times are fast, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable. I deducted one star only because the power cable included was a bit short for my setup.

Great board, documentation could be better
Hardware performance is excellent for the price point. The dual LAN ports are a huge plus for my network configuration. However, the Linux driver documentation was a bit sparse, requiring some digging in the community forums to get everything working perfectly.

Reliable for factory control panels
We deployed ten of these units as HMI panels in our workshop. They have been running 24/7 for two months with zero crashes. The ability to switch between Android and Linux gives us great flexibility for different software requirements.
Q: What is the operating temperature range for industrial use?
A: The board is designed for commercial and light industrial environments with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. For extreme industrial conditions, we recommend adding active cooling or heating solutions.
Q: Does it come with a case or heatsink included?
A: The package includes the mainboard and a passive aluminum heatsink pre-attached to the SoC. An enclosure or case is sold separately to allow flexibility for custom integration into your own housing designs.
Q: Is the source code for the Android BSP available?
A: Yes, we provide open-source BSP (Board Support Package) for Android and Linux on our official Wiki and GitHub repository. This includes kernel sources, device trees, and basic demo images to help you start development quickly.
Q: Can I power this board via PoE (Power over Ethernet)?
A: The standard version does not have built-in PoE support. However, there is a dedicated pin header on the PCB that allows you to connect an external PoE module if your application requires it.
Q: Does this board support dual independent display outputs simultaneously?
A: Yes, the Firefly Luban Cat 1HS supports dual display output. You can drive two screens simultaneously using combinations of HDMI, LVDS, or MIPI DSI interfaces depending on your specific configuration needs.
