Perfect for AI and Voice Projects
This board is exactly what I needed for my XiaoZhi robot project. The N16R8 configuration provides ample memory for running local voice recognition models without lag. Setup with the Arduino IDE was seamless.

Reliable for control systems

Good for learning advanced IoT
As a student, this board has been great for learning about edge AI. It handles multiple Wi-Fi connections stably. Only giving 4 stars because the initial driver installation on Windows took some troubleshooting.

Excellent value for the specs
Coming from the older ESP32, the S3 is a massive upgrade. The extra PSRAM allows me to handle image processing tasks that were previously impossible. Highly recommended for educational and industrial prototyping.

Smooth integration with ESP-IDF
I use this primarily with ESP-IDF and the vector instructions significantly speed up my DSP algorithms. The build quality of the DevKitC-1 is solid, and the headers are well-spaced for breadboarding.
