Great hardware, documentation could be better
Hardware quality is top-notch. The capacitive touch is responsive. I wish there were more English examples for the voice interaction library, but the community is helpful.

Solid performance
Compilation times are fast, and the dual-core processor handles multitasking well. The only minor issue is the pinout layout which takes some getting used to.
Q: Does this board support MicroPython?
A: Yes, the ESP32-S3 chip fully supports MicroPython. You can flash the firmware using esptool.py and start coding immediately.
Q: What is the maximum brightness of the screen?
A: The AMOLED display reaches up to 600 nits peak brightness, ensuring visibility even in moderately lit outdoor environments.
Q: Is the XiaoZhi voice model running locally or in the cloud?
A: The board supports both modes. Basic commands can run locally on the device, while complex natural language processing can be offloaded to the cloud via Wi-Fi.
Q: Can I connect a battery directly to this board?
A: Yes, there is a dedicated JST connector for a 3.7V Li-Po battery. The board includes a charging circuit, so it charges automatically when USB is connected.
Q: Are there example codes available for the capacitive touch?
A: Absolutely. Our GitHub repository contains several examples demonstrating single-touch, multi-touch, and gesture recognition using the built-in library.
