Perfect for IoT Prototyping
This board is exactly what I needed for my home automation project. The WROVER module with extra PSRAM handles complex tasks smoothly. Setup with Arduino IDE was seamless.

Great value, minor pin labeling issue
Excellent performance and connectivity. My only small complaint is that some GPIO pin labels on the silkscreen are a bit faint, but the documentation online clears it up quickly.

Reliable and Fast
I've burned through several cheaper clones, but this genuine DevKitC is stable. Wi-Fi range is impressive, and the dual-core processing makes multitasking easy.

Best ESP32 board I've used
The build quality is superior. The USB-to-UART bridge works flawlessly on both Windows and Linux without needing extra drivers. Highly recommended for serious developers.

Solid board, gets warm under load
Performance is top-notch for the price. Note that it does get moderately warm when running Wi-Fi and Bluetooth simultaneously at high loads, but nothing concerning.
Q: What is the maximum current output for the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard regulator can supply approximately 600mA total, but we recommend drawing no more than 500mA from the 3.3V pin to ensure stability.
Q: Is this compatible with the ESP-IDF framework?
A: Yes, the ESP32-DevKitC is fully supported by the Espressif IoT Development Framework (ESP-IDF) as well as Arduino IDE and MicroPython.
Q: Can I power this board directly with a 3.7V LiPo battery?
A: It is not recommended to connect a LiPo battery directly to the 5V or 3.3V pins. Please use a dedicated charging module and regulate the voltage appropriately before connecting to the VIN pin.
Q: Does this board come with headers pre-soldered?
A: No, this version typically comes without headers soldered to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself if required.
Q: Does the WROVER module support camera interfaces?
A: Yes, the ESP32 chip supports DVP camera interfaces. However, you may need to check specific pin mappings for your camera module against the ESP32-DevKitC pinout.
