Perfect for IoT Projects
This ESP32 board works flawlessly right out of the box. The CH340 driver installed easily on Windows, and I was able to upload my first sketch within minutes. Great value for the dual-core performance.

Easy to learn with
As a beginner, I found plenty of tutorials compatible with this specific board layout. The community support is huge, and the board itself is very forgiving if you make wiring mistakes.

Works well with Home Assistant
Integrated this into my smart home setup quickly. The power consumption is low in deep sleep mode. Deducting one star because the included pins were not pre-soldered, but that is standard for these boards.

Best bang for your buck
I have tried several ESP32 variants, and this one with the socketed design is fantastic. It makes swapping chips easy if you ever need to, though the build quality suggests it will last a long time.

Solid board, minor pin labeling issue
The hardware is robust and the WiFi range is impressive. My only complaint is that some of the pin labels on the silkscreen are a bit small to read without a magnifier. Otherwise, highly recommended for prototyping.

Great for students
Bought ten of these for our university robotics club. They handle multiple connections simultaneously without crashing. The Bluetooth functionality is a nice bonus for controlling robots via phone.
