Compact and powerful
I've used several ESP32 boards, and this CAM version is very compact. The OV2640 sensor captures decent video streams. The included serial converter made uploading code much easier than expected.

Perfect for IoT prototyping
This board is exactly what I needed for my home security project. The Wi-Fi connection is stable, and the camera quality is surprisingly good for the price. Setup with Arduino IDE was straightforward following online tutorials.

Great value but needs careful power supply
Excellent board for learning embedded systems. Just be aware that it requires a stable 5V power source; powering it directly from some USB ports can cause brownouts during Wi-Fi transmission. Once powered correctly, it works flawlessly.

Good documentation support online
As a beginner, I was worried about the complexity, but there are countless guides available. The hardware feels solid. Deducting one star only because the pinout diagram on the back is a bit small to read.
