Perfect compact board for IoT projects
The SuperMini form factor is incredible. It fits easily into small enclosures where standard dev boards won't go. Wi-Fi connection was stable right out of the box using the Arduino IDE.

Beginner friendly
As someone new to embedded systems, this board was easy to set up. Plenty of tutorials available online specifically for the C3 chip. Bluetooth pairing worked flawlessly with my phone.

Great value, minor pin labeling issue
Excellent performance for the price. The RISC-V architecture handles my sensor data logging well. Only downside is the pinout diagram on the back is a bit small to read without magnification.

Solid performance, runs cool
Been running this continuously for a week monitoring temperature. It stays cool even with Wi-Fi active. The only reason for 4 stars is I wish it had an external antenna connector for longer range.

Best C3 board I've used
The build quality is surprisingly good for the size. Soldering headers was easy. MicroPython support is excellent, making prototyping very quick. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

USB-C is a game changer
Finally, a cheap ESP board with a proper USB-C port. No more fiddling with micro-USB cables that don't fit. Programming speed is fast and the onboard RGB LED is a nice touch for debugging.
Q: Can I power this directly from a 3.7V LiPo battery?
A: While the chip operates at 3.3V, this specific board is designed to be powered via the 5V USB-C input which regulates down to 3.3V. For direct LiPo connection, ensure your battery voltage stays within the safe input range of the onboard LDO regulator, typically up to 5.5V, but a dedicated battery management module is recommended for safety.
