Great hardware, documentation could be better
The build quality is solid and the components are high-grade. However, the user manual lacks detailed explanations on configuring the PWM modules for custom voltage levels. Still a great value for prototyping.

Excellent for learning PSFB topology
This board is exactly what I needed to understand phase-shifted full-bridge control. The TI DSP implementation is clean, and the provided source code helped me grasp the dead-time management quickly.

Good value but runs warm at max load
Works as advertised. At 300W load, the heatsinks get quite hot, so ensure you have adequate airflow or an external fan. The digital control loop is very responsive.

Reliable evaluation platform

Perfect for university projects
Used this for my senior design project on efficient power conversion. The JTAG interface made debugging the DSP code very straightforward. Achieved 94% efficiency in my final tests.

Q: Can I modify the switching frequency via software only?
A: Absolutely. The switching frequency is fully configurable through the DSP parameters in the source code, allowing you to tune it between 50kHz and 200kHz without hardware changes.
Q: Is an external cooling fan required for operation?
A: For loads under 150W, natural convection is usually sufficient. For operations near the 300W maximum rating, we strongly recommend active cooling with a fan to maintain optimal thermal performance.
Q: What is the maximum input voltage this board can safely handle?
A: The board is rated for a maximum continuous input voltage of 48V DC. Exceeding this limit may trigger the Over-Voltage Protection or damage the input capacitors.
Q: Does the board support CAN bus communication for remote monitoring?
