Robust and expandable
I've added extra sensors and modified the code extensively. The STM32 chip handles the extra load without issues. Highly recommended for intermediate developers.

Video streaming is a game changer

Excellent for classroom use

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality is solid and the motors are surprisingly strong. However, beginners might find the initial setup of the development environment a bit challenging without prior experience.

Good value for money
For the price, you get a lot of components. The chassis assembly took some time, but the instructions were clear. Wish the battery lasted a bit longer during heavy Wi-Fi use.
Q: Does it work with macOS for programming?
A: Absolutely. The STM32 toolchain is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. We provide specific setup guides for Mac users in our documentation.
Q: Can I control the robot from outside my home network?
A: Currently, the app is designed for local network control. For remote access over the internet, you would need to configure port forwarding or use a cloud MQTT broker.
Q: Does this kit come with pre-written code examples?
A: Yes, the package includes a USB drive with sample code for basic movement, video streaming, and sensor integration in both C and MicroPython.
Q: Is the camera module replaceable if it breaks?
A: Yes, the camera connects via a standard interface. You can purchase a compatible replacement module separately if needed.
Q: What is the maximum speed of the car?
A: On a flat surface with a fully charged battery, the maximum speed is approximately 0.8 meters per second, which can be adjusted via software PWM settings.
