Perfect for Computer Vision Projects
The K230 board is incredibly fast for object detection tasks. The CanMV IDE makes prototyping with Python extremely easy compared to older models.

Good hardware, software needs updates
The board itself is powerful, but I encountered some bugs in the latest CanMV firmware. Expecting patches soon.

Great performance, steep learning curve
Hardware is solid and the AI acceleration is noticeable. Documentation could be more detailed for beginners, but community forums are helpful.

Robust and reliable
We bought ten of these for our workshop. They handle continuous operation well without overheating. Highly recommended for education.

Excellent for university projects
Used this for my final year project on smart sorting. The camera module integration was seamless. Wish it had onboard Wi-Fi built-in though.
Q: Is there a JTAG interface for debugging?
A: Yes, the board exposes JTAG pins on the header, allowing for low-level debugging with compatible probes.
Q: Does this board support TensorFlow Lite models directly?
A: The K230 uses its own KPU architecture. You typically convert models using the nncase toolchain provided in the SDK rather than running TFLite directly.
Q: Can I power this board with a standard phone charger?
A: Yes, any USB-C charger providing stable 5V/2A output will work perfectly for standard operations.
Q: Does the package include a camera module?
A: No, this listing is for the development board only. Camera modules and LCD screens are sold separately.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported by the camera interface?
A: The MIPI CSI interface supports cameras up to 8 megapixels, though optimal performance for AI inference is often seen at 640x480 or 1280x720.
