Great value for Kintex UltraScale
Very happy with the performance. The only minor issue was that the example projects needed a slight update for the latest Vivado version, but support helped quickly.

Solid choice for research labs
Bought three units for our university lab. Students find the JTAG debugging easy to use. Would give 5 stars if the heatsink was slightly larger.
Q: Can I power this board solely through the PCIe slot?
A: Yes, the board is designed to draw sufficient power from a standard PCIe x8 or x16 slot, though an external 12V supply is recommended for heavy I/O usage.
Q: What is the maximum capacity for the DDR4 SODIMM?
A: The board supports up to 16GB DDR4 SODIMM modules, although it ships with a 4GB module by default.
Q: Does this board come with a license for Vivado?
A: No, the board includes the hardware only. You will need to purchase or obtain a suitable Xilinx Vivado license separately based on your project needs.
Q: Are the pin assignments for the SFP+ cage documented?
A: Yes, detailed pinout diagrams and constraint files (.xdc) for the SFP+ interface are included in the downloadable resource pack on our website.
Q: Is this compatible with Windows 11 for development?
A: Absolutely. As long as your system supports the Xilinx cable drivers, you can develop on Windows 10 or 11 using the Vivado suite.
