Good for learning embedded systems
Using this for my university final year project. It handles multiple connections well. Only giving 4 stars because the included USB cable is a bit short.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
Hardware quality is excellent and the signal strength from the PCB antenna is surprisingly good. Just wish the pinout diagram in the manual was slightly clearer for beginners.
Q: Is this board compatible with the standard Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, the Ai-WB2-32S-Kit is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE. You will need to install the specific board manager URL provided in our documentation to get started.
Q: Does this kit come with header pins pre-soldered?
A: No, the header pins are included in the package but are not pre-soldered. This allows you to choose between straight or right-angle headers based on your project needs.
Q: Can I power this board with a 3.7V LiPo battery directly?
A: While the chip operates at 3.3V, we recommend using a regulated power source or a battery module with voltage regulation to ensure stability and prevent damage to the board.
Q: Is Bluetooth 5.0 backward compatible with older devices?
A: Yes, Bluetooth 5.0 is fully backward compatible with Bluetooth 4.x and earlier versions, so it will connect seamlessly with your existing smartphones and peripherals.
Q: What is the range of the onboard PCB antenna?
A: In an open environment, you can expect a WiFi range of approximately 30-50 meters and a Bluetooth range of about 10-20 meters, depending on obstacles and interference.
