Excellent for embedded vision projects
This board is perfect for my AI camera project. The NPU works well with the provided SDK, and the video codec performance is outstanding for the price point.

Perfect for industrial prototyping
We used this for a prototype security camera system. The stability over long periods is impressive, and the GPIO access is sufficient for our sensors.

Great hardware, docs could be better
The hardware quality is solid and boot times are fast. However, I wish the documentation for custom device tree configurations was more detailed.

Good board but shipping was slow
The board itself functions as expected and handles 1080p encoding smoothly. My only complaint is the delivery took longer than estimated.
Q: Does this board support Ubuntu Core?
A: Yes, the Luckfox Aura supports Ubuntu Core as well as Buildroot Linux. Please check our wiki for the latest image downloads.
Q: What camera modules are compatible?
A: It is compatible with standard MIPI CSI cameras. We recommend using our official Waveshare camera modules for guaranteed driver support.
Q: Is Wi-Fi built into the board?
A: The standard board does not include built-in Wi-Fi. However, you can connect a USB Wi-Fi dongle or use an external module via USB.
Q: What is the maximum resolution for video encoding?
A: The RV1126B supports up to 4K resolution encoding, though performance may vary based on the specific codec and frame rate settings used.
Q: Can I power this via GPIO pins?
A: We recommend using the Type-C port for stable power supply. Powering via GPIO is possible but requires careful voltage regulation to avoid damage.
