Works great for robot cars
I used this module to control the motors on my Arduino-based robot car. It was easy to wire and the code examples online were helpful. No issues with overheating during normal use.

Reliable driver for small motors
Perfect for small DC motors within the current limit. I am using it for a automation project and it responds quickly to PWM signals.

Good module, pins need soldering
The driver works as expected for my cooling fan project. Just note that you need to solder the header pins yourself if you want to plug it into a breadboard easily.

Okay but gets warm
It functions correctly, but the chip does get noticeably warm when driving motors near the 800mA limit. Make sure you have some airflow.

A: No, the package includes only the motor driver module. You will need to provide your own jumper wires or connectors.
Q: Can this drive two motors simultaneously?
A: Yes, the L9110S chip has dual channels, allowing you to control two DC motors independently at the same time.
Q: What is the acceptable voltage range for the motor?
A: The module supports a motor voltage range from DC 2.5V to 12V. Please ensure your motor falls within this specification.
Q: Does it come with heat sinks attached?
A: No, the module does not come with additional heat sinks. The PCB is designed to dissipate heat for continuous currents up to 800mA.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic boards?
A: It is primarily designed for 5V TTL logic. While it may work with 3.3V, we recommend using it with 5V microcontrollers like Arduino UNO for best performance.
