Soldering required
Works fine but expect to do some soldering for headers. Not plug-and-play entirely.
Q: What happens if the battery voltage gets too low?
A: The built-in protection will cut off output to prevent over-discharge damage to the cell.
Q: Is the 18650 battery included in the package?
A: No the package contains only the PCB board. Batteries must be purchased separately.
Q: Does it support pass-through charging?
A: Yes you can use the Pi while the battery is being charged simultaneously.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi 4?
A: This V3 is optimized for Pi 3. Pi 4 may require more current than this board provides.
Q: Does this board charge the battery automatically?
A: Yes it includes a charging circuit for the 18650 cell via micro USB input.
