Good quality, slightly tight fit
Overall excellent construction. The aluminum hubs are lightweight yet durable. Had to use a little extra force to slide it onto the shaft, but once installed, it works great.

Great value for money
Solid build quality for the price point. The spider insert is easy to replace if needed. Only wish it came with a spare spider element in the box.

Reliable encoder coupling
Used this to connect a rotary encoder to a lead screw. Zero backlash and very smooth operation. The flexible element handles minor misalignments perfectly.

Perfect fit for my CNC retrofit
The keyway alignment was precise, and the set screws held firm under high torque. The elastic spider element effectively dampened vibrations from the motor.

Robust industrial grade
Replaced a worn-out plastic coupling with this one. The difference in noise reduction and stability is night and day. Highly recommend for industrial machinery.
Q: Does this coupling come with the spider insert pre-installed?
A: Yes, the unit ships fully assembled with the standard yellow NBR spider element already installed between the hubs.
Q: How do I know when the spider element needs replacement?
A: Inspect the spider regularly for cracks, deformation, or powdering rubber. If you notice increased vibration or noise during operation, it is likely time to replace the element.
Q: Is the keyway standard DIN or ANSI?
A: The keyways are machined to ISO/DIN standards, which are generally compatible with most international motor shafts. Please verify your specific shaft tolerance before ordering.
Q: What is the maximum bore size available for this model?
A: This specific listing covers bores up to 24mm. For larger shaft diameters, please check our 'Heavy Duty' series in the store catalog.
Q: Can I use this coupling outdoors in direct sunlight?
A: While the aluminum hubs are weather-resistant, prolonged exposure to UV rays may degrade the rubber spider element over time. We recommend a protective cover for outdoor applications.
