Had issues with false triggers initially. Had to add grounding properly. Works now but tricky for beginners.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
Works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity is adjustable via capacitors. Great value for 16 keys.

Good module, slight learning curve
Functionality is solid. Took some time to configure the I2C mode correctly. Documentation online is scattered.
Q: Do you provide an Arduino library?
A: We do not host libraries directly, but many open-source TTP229 libraries are available on GitHub.
Q: Can I use this behind a 5mm glass panel?
A: Yes, capacitive touch works through non-conductive materials like glass or plastic up to certain thicknesses.
Q: Is there a sleep mode to save power?
A: Yes, the chip has a low-power mode when no touch is detected for a set period.
Q: Does this support 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, the module operates between 2.4V and 5.5V, so 3.3V systems are compatible.
Q: What is the default I2C address?
A: The address depends on the configuration pads. Please refer to the datasheet for setting ADDR pins.
