Much better than resistive sensors
Finally a sensor that doesn't corrode after a few weeks. The analog output is smooth and easy to read with my ESP32.

Great value for money
Works as advertised. The pins are standard 2.54mm spacing which makes breadboarding easy. Wish the cable was slightly longer.
Q: Do you provide sample code for Arduino?
A: Yes, please check the product wiki link in the description for basic Arduino and Raspberry Pi example sketches.
Q: Can I leave this in the soil permanently?
A: Yes, the capacitive probe is designed to be corrosion-resistant and suitable for long-term burial in soil.
Q: What is the response time of the sensor?
A: The sensor provides real-time analog readings. Changes in moisture levels are reflected almost instantly upon reading the pin.
Q: Does this module support digital output?
A: No, this specific model provides only an analog output signal. You will need to use an ADC pin on your microcontroller.
Q: Is it compatible with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, the operating voltage range is DC 3.3V to 5.5V, so it works safely with 3.3V systems like ESP32.
