Perfect for weekend camping trips

The torch functions as described and produces a strong flame. However, the metal body gets quite hot after extended use, so be careful where you set it down. A heat shield would be a nice addition.

Sturdy construction
Feels much more durable than the plastic lighters I used to buy. The brass construction gives it a nice weight. Took off one star because the instructions were a bit vague on safety protocols.

Q: Does this come with the blue gas canister shown in some photos?
A: No, the SF129 is the torch head only. The gas canister is not included and must be purchased separately. It fits most standard threaded butane canisters.

A: The piezo igniter is built into the unit and is not designed to be user-replaceable. If the igniter fails, the unit can still be lit manually with a match or lighter using the gas flow valve.
