Solid performance

Works exactly as described. The threads are clean and the fit is precise. I deducted one star only because the included thermal paste tube was nearly empty, but otherwise a great product.

Highly recommended for K2 Plus owners

Essential for engineering materials

Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?

A: The ceramic heating element is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. Brief peaks slightly higher are possible but not recommended for prolonged periods.

Q: Do I need to update the firmware after installing this?

A: Generally, no firmware update is required as the thermal characteristics are similar to the stock setup. However, you may need to recalibrate your PID settings for optimal performance.

Q: Is this compatible with the original Creality K2 non-Plus model?

A: This kit is specifically designed for the K2 Plus due to differences in the hotend mounting geometry. It is not recommended for the standard K2 model.

Q: Does this kit support nozzle sizes other than 0.4mm?

A: Yes, the heater block uses a standard M6 thread, so it is compatible with any M6 nozzles ranging from 0.2mm to 0.8mm, sold separately.

Q: Is the thermistor pre-installed or do I need to transfer my old one?

A: The kit comes with a new high-temperature NTC 100K thermistor pre-installed and secured with high-temp adhesive. You do not need to reuse your old sensor.
