Beautiful tone and finish
The gloss finish looks stunning, and the spruce top gives it a bright, resonant sound. I upgraded from a toy guitar, and the difference is night and day. Very happy with this purchase.

Good ergonomics for smaller hands
As an adult with smaller hands, the narrower neck profile on these models is very comfortable. The intonation is accurate up the fretboard. A reliable instrument for learning proper technique.

Great value adult starter guitar

Yamaha reliability as always
This is my third Yamaha guitar. The C70 model has a slightly warmer tone than the C40. Excellent craftsmanship and very easy to play for beginners. Setup out of the box was nearly perfect.

Solid choice for music schools
We bought several of these for our community music program. They hold up well to daily use by different students. The nylon strings are gentle on fingers, which is great for kids.

Perfect first guitar for my daughter
